While she was at home, watching coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic, she saw a news story on people making their own masks. She thought to herself, “our sewers can do this”!

Coronavirus boosts demand for Elyria-based Invacare’s oxygen products and beds

WASHINGTON, D.C. - As other Northeast Ohio businesses lay off workers during the coronavirus pandemic, Elyria-based medical equipment provider Invacare Corporation is adding shifts to satisfy a huge demand for the oxygen concentrators and medical beds it produces.

Beds in High Demand to support COVID-19 Pop-up Hospitals

Invacare is Here to Help and we are proud to be of service during this pandemic. Invacare products were spotted at a pop-up hospital to support the extra needs of Dallas County patients which is nearing completion at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The load of large crates came with a variety of beds and equipment to care for 250 patients.
